Dusky
Naps by the fire
Dusky is the family's sleepy little pet cat, with a talent for finding the coziest spot in the burrow. Most evenings you will find him curled up by the fireplace, with the warm glow on his fur and a soft purr that sounds like a tiny engine.
He naps by the fire whatever happens. Dusky opens one eye when he smells something baking in Mom's oven, then closes it again, just in case it was a dream. Outside, the leaves fall in every shade of orange, and Dusky keeps snoozing, happy and warm.
